History

  • The Beginning

    Founded as Approved Personnel in Guernsey by Chief Executive, Gina Le Prevost, as an agency for recruiting permanent and temporary staff for the finance industry.

  • REC

    AP Group becomes a member of REC (The Recruitment & Employment Confederation). The membership ended in 2016

    1994 Achievement
  • AP Courses

    AP Courses was established in Guernsey. It was originally called Future Business School but changed its name to Approved Courses in 2004, and to AP Courses in 2007.

  • Jersey

    In 1998, AP Personnel and AP Courses opened a branch in St Helier, Jersey.

  • AP Executive

    AP Executive was incorporated in 1999 and opened an office in Guernsey, with an office in Jersey following six months later.

  • BVI

    During 2001, AP Executive opened an office in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

  • Cyprus - Limassol

    In 2003, AP Group expanded further afield and opened an office in Limassol, Cyprus. This office included AP Personnel, AP Courses and AP Executive.

  • Cyprus - Nicosia

    In September 2004, AP Group opened a second office in Cyprus in the capital city of Nicosia

  • STEP

    In 2004 AP Group became the Global Recruitment Partner for STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). The relationship florished for 7 years.

    The decision was made to make the Nicosia office the head office in Cyprus, so it was expanded and the Limassol office was closed down.

  • London

    The London office was also opened and AP Executive is the only department that operates in this jurisdiction at present.

  • CISI

    In 2007, AP Group bacame a recruitment partner of CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment). This partnership lasted for over 5 years.

  • Geneva

    In March, AP Group opened an office in the jurisdiction of Geneva.

    During May 2007, the group re-branded and became AP Group.

    In February, AP Group opened an office in the jurisdiction of Zurich.

  • Cyprus - Limassol

    In June, AP Group opened an office in Limassol, Cyprus

  • Singapore

    AP Executive established an new office in Singapore.

  • Corporate Intl Global Awards

    In 2014, AP Executive was named as the "International Recruitment Specialist Firm of the Year in Switzerland" by Corporate Intl.

    Recognised for the second time in three years, AP Executive once again won the Corporate Intl Global Awards in the category: International Recruitment Specialist Firm of the Year.

    In February, AP Executive added another feather to its cap by winning the 2016 Offshore Excellence Awards in the “Best in Offshore Wealth Management Recruitment” category.
